ABOUT ME

Yining Cao (Vivian) is a NYC-based, Chinese-born creative producer and performing arts manager. She has worked across commercial theater, performing arts institutions, and international stages over the past 5+ years, bringing diverse and innovative stories to life. She firmly believes in the transformative power of theatre to unite individuals, bridge cultures, and foster global connections.

Currently, Yining/Vivian is the Producing Associate at Yangtze Repertory Theatre of America. Her previous experiences include working at Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), New York City Center, Mott/Fischer Productions, Thompson Turner Productions, Broadway & Beyond Theatricals, Universal Creative, SMG Live, and more. Her producing credits include Salesman之死 at Connelly Theater (Off-Broadway); How I Disappeared at New Ohio Theatre (Off-Off-Broadway); Two Takes: The Peony Pavilion supported by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council & Kunqu Society; and more. She is a Theatre Management & Producing MFA Candidate at Columbia University and holds a B.S in Film/Television from Boston University.
